The inaugural “GO Green Futureproofing Green Building @ Qianhai” Forum concluded successfully on 22 November at the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub. Co-organised by the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC), BEAM Society Limited (BSL) and Shenzhen Green Building Association (SGBA), the Forum focused on green building standards in the Greater Bay Area, technological applications, ESG and green finance, green construction materials, as well as case studies of innovative green building. During the Forum, the HKGBC presented the first batch of “BEAM Plus Existing Buildings” certificates to the 3 hotels under China Resources Longdation Company Limited (CR Longdation) in Shenzhen Bay, Xiaojing Bay and Xiong’an, demonstrating that the influence of BEAM Plus has been expanded to regions outside Hong Kong.
